Furniture Designs

I found some old student furniture designs I created back in the "old" days. The chair is black-lacquered wood with iron rods. The shelf is made from birch and the base is polished granite. The idea is that these products come in a small, flat, box and are easily assembled by the consumer.

Boy that brought back TONS of memories! Very Cool

I recently dumped out some damaged models and old renderings due to a flood - very sad to say the least.

Was thinking of taking some refresher coarses in 3D rendering and model making to get back into ID

Very nice stuff

Though that granite makes me worry about carrying the box out to the car.

"Look! there's a space there in B! Why did we park in K? K's fuckin miles away! Screw this it's too heavy, I'll stay here you go get the car!"

It's difficult to look at past projects such as these. Yes, the granite will be heavy, this is a small design "flaw". The cheaper "economy" version will be made from "faux granite" molded from plastic and you fill it with sand or water. Yea that's it....sand!

Virginia, facebook.com is like myspace.com without all the software bugs and bullshit. Artists are now using facebook.com to share and meet other artists, and to keep in contact instead of email. Thanks for your comment!
